Opportunity!

On October 18th, I will be joining a good friend of mine, also a photographer, to photograph the event of a lifetime. I will be flying to Washington, DC to assist her with the event called Africare 2007 Bishop John T. Walker Memorial Dinner. The mission of Africare is to imporve the quality of life in Africa and they are doing an amazing job at that. This year the event is honoring Her Excellency Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, President of Liberia. Past honorees include Nelson Mandela and President William Clinton. Jazz Hands!

This little guy did not disappoint, he was such a doll. I just had to share two here because this is one of my most favorite "awake" newborn portraits of all time. I just love the light in his eyes. Doesn't his little hand on the second picture remind you of "jazz hands". . .or do I watch too much Dancing with Stars?! Too cute.

A New Project. . .

Well a new project is getting under way for me, but its a surprise. All I can say is that this little sweetie is lucky enough to be a part of it. I'm pretty lucky too being how she's so cute! You may recognize her from my website, and that is because I have been photographing her for a while now, and hopefully many more times to come!

It was newborn week for me and luckily K. finished it off for me. He is such a doll, the new love of everyone's life. Who could resist his little cheek smushed up in Daddy's hands. Welcome to the world!

I have been photographing J. since he was just a newborn. But today, I learned some new things about him. He loves sticks, loves water, loves to explore, loves grapes, and of course, loves his Mom & Dad. Great seeing you guys again!

Lovin the "do"

So is little J. cute or what?! I just love his little mohawk and he has a lovely personality to match. He's gonna be a heartbreaker!
