On October 18th, I will be joining a good friend of mine, also a photographer, to photograph the event of a lifetime. I will be flying to Washington, DC to assist her with the event called Africare 2007 Bishop John T. Walker Memorial Dinner. The mission of Africare is to imporve the quality of life in Africa and they are doing an amazing job at that. This year the event is honoring Her Excellency Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, President of Liberia. Past honorees include Nelson Mandela and President William Clinton.
