I am proud to introduce this little guy to everyone. He was just so sweet, I mean with those cheeks, the hair, the baby blues how could he not be right! Top it all off with a fun Mom & Dad and this guy is set for life! The best part - his favorite thing to smile, Dad impersonating Darth Vader. See I told you the J. is cool already!

Capture Your Miracle - Maternity Photography Event

SH Portraits is currently seeking pregnant woman between 32-36 weeks to take part in a special “Capture Your Miracle” event. This limited edition will showcase semi-nude artisitc photography of pregnant women. The sessions will take place in the clients home featuring the client’s decor with a relaxed & modern twist on
maternity photography.

Each woman will receive a complimentary session fee of $150. All prints must be purchased seperately at the a la carte rates or in a package. A purchase is not required to participate in the event. A special gift will be given to all women who book a
newborn session with SH Portraits at the time of their maternity session.

All sessions must take place by March 31, 2007. Please contact Samara at

Thank you to the many many clients who emailed to participate. It was great for me to read everyones thoughts on the new site. Everyone's favorite aspects were exactly what I was trying to achieve for my clients, so I am so happy about that!

It's New & It's Here!

The new website for SH Portraits! It's bigger, better and most importantly user friendly for my clients. Client slideshows, proofing and ordering all in the same place as the website. Now that I am sure you will all love!

Since I am so excited to share in this with all of my great clients. . . .I have to do a contest!

The first current or past client to email me and tell me what their top three favorite things are about the new site will receive an 11x14 of their choice from a previous session (or to use at a future session) and they will receive a complimentary gift certificate for a mini session to give to a friend.
